Trial Lesson - A single lesson fee is applied.
Single lesson Fee - please note that in average a single lesson cost a bit more than a whole package. If you decided to join the whole course after the trial-lesson, you just have to pay the balance from the entire course fee.
Discount for student - We offer CHF.20.- discount for students with student ID under 20 years old.
Earning credit - For every successful referral, you get Fr.20.- voucher for your next Course / Workshop.

Our Salsa Course

We've develop a system that is fun and efficient for everyone to learn. We use "Step by Step" method, you learn your vocabulary and the techniques of how to put them together, so you can become creative in a long run, not just following or coping a program.

We focus on the quality of our classes and workshops. From Rhythm to body movement, from Solo to partner work for all levels.

What do we teach in our courses?

* Rhythm - We emphasis very much on the rhythm and music. Each level has different element and exercise to develop your Rhythm and timing.

* Music hearing and Interpretation.
We teach our classes with live percussion. We also have special training CD to help you to develop your skill.

* Coordination, Balance and Posture.
Warm up and exercise of body coordination and body movement, to help you dance and look better.

* Partner Work - turn patterns and combination for all levels.
Leading and let-lead technique. What makes one combination works or the opposite. Each combination is taught with detail explanation, see more in tricks and tips.

* Footwork
Steps and combination to help you develop your dancing technique with balance, speed, changing weight technique.

* Turning /Spinning technique.
Exercise, tricks and tips for Partner Work.

To learn how to Salsa, first you need to understand the rhythm of Salsa, the steps, the body movement, the TWO persons but only ONE system principle in order to dance together with harmony, then move on to the combination and figures.

We first taught the most important element of Salsa, (The rhythem and the system of Salsa) for you to truly understand how it works, before teaching you a combination. This way you can build a stronge foundation.

With more than 10 years of teaching experiences; we have developed a "Step by Step" system that is fun, easy and efficient for everyone to learn.

Salsa Cubana

In Cuba, dancing is not just a hobby, it is part of their live. It esquires no special dance shoes or dance floor.

Its "street flavors" in its Style makes it dynamic and intriguing to watch. This Style has many interesting elements such as 'knots' and 'tricks', while they are danced in a circular motion around their partner. It's danced on 1 or 3. Best fit, of course - Cuba Music, especially a type of musica called "Timba".

In our courses, you will be dancing with a group (Casino Rueda Style) and changing partner all the time. It is fun and effective to learn. We reommended for beginner without any privious dance experiences.

[ Salsa Cubana Courses Program ]

Salsa Puertoriqueña on "1" /Elegente / Cross-Body Style

Stylish, Elegent and sharp. Salsa Puertoriqueña can be danced On1 or On2. Best suit with almost all type of music, such as Salsa romantica, Salsa Moderna, Music from all part of South America except a type of music called "Timba" from Cuba.

Salsa Puertoricana is danced more less in a linea motion, while the partner will be using "cross-body" technique to move around their partner. It's effect is elegent and stylish. It's all about the harmony and the flirt with one and the other.

With it's suffisicated turn-patterns, it requires more turning or Spin technique with this stlye. There are also solo improvisation from time to time during partner dance, such as "shine" and "footwork". (** This Style is easier to learn for those who has some previous dance experience. )

Mambo On2 (N.Y.Style)

When New York meets Puerto Rico. It's Afro influence combines with the "Nuyorica" (New Yorker Puerto Rican) Style.

New York Style is danced On2, and it's the only Salsa style that Men begin their footwork backward. It's dynamic turn pattern in Partner work has a stronge influence and technique from a dance called "Hustle", it also has a lot of "Shine" and "Foot-work". Best fits with the music "Mambo" or Salsa from Puerto Rico.

The art of Partner Work in Salsa dancing - nothing has been prearranged in Club dancing. (Except Show performance.) Every combination come from the spontaneous moment. That's what makes it fun to dance with and challenging to master.

LITTLE DETAIL makes a BIG DIFFERENCE. Learn the technique with TRICKS & TIPS. What is "leadable" or the other way around. What makes it look and feels great or the opposite.

Private Lesson is suitable for everyone in every level. You can learn about rhythm, music, dance technique or partner work. Each lesson is tailor made to your need. Single / Pair / Small Group are welcome. Time upon request. Location (5min from Zurich main train Station.)
Private Lesson Fee - 60min per hour: CHF.100.- Single / CHF.140.- pPair / 3 Persons CHF.50.-pP / Maximum 4 Persons CHF.40.-pP
Private Lesson Package: For every 10 lessons get the 11th lesson for Free.
