Winny Founder of Salsapassion Dance Company who was born and raised in HK and base in Zurich nowadays. She is trained in Jazz, Modern and Hip-Hop in APAHK. With dance education since 1987 and teaching experience since 1997.
It was during her study in Jazz, she discovered the sound of Mambo and Salsa, and ever since then, she is "hooked" and became specialized in Authentic Latin Dance. Her passion for it has not just extended to her dancing steps but her pursue in the art of Salsa. She has traveled from Cuba to Puerto Rico, from south to the north of Europe, from east to the west of United States, to learn from the best Teachers and the Masters since. She is a frequent visitor and performer in numerous of Salsacongresses throughout Europe, to be inspired and to inspire others.
To her dance has no Nationality, no colour, no borders and it speaks only one language – the “body language”!
Her unique dance style is a result of her many dance backgrounds including Jazz, modern, Hip-Hop, Afro Rumba, Son, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Flamenco and Tango. Winny is know from her footwork, quick and light, her movement, soft yet strong. She is one of the very few female instructor throughout Europe and Asia that can both lead and follow equally well in many different styles from Latin Partner Dance such as Mambo on2, Salsa Cubana, Salsa Puertoricana (Americana), Son and Cha Cha Cha. Her vast knowledge and experiences has made her one of the most interesting and versatile dancer there is from Asia.

Her profound love and passion for dance made her not just a unique dancer but also one of the most recognized dance instructor in town. Good teaching strategies can be borrowed, but a good teaching heart is unique and cannot be replicated. She believes in honesty, whether in teaching or in expressing oneself during the dance.
