Salsa Workshop

Our Workshops are dedicated to those who want to learn more about Salsa not just in Partner Work but also in other artistic aspects of the dance - from dance technique to music knowledge. Every exercise and practice is aim to help you to become a more skillful dancer at these workshops.

Many people have mistaken that paying attention to dance technique will lessen the fun part of the dance. Well, the truth is, the more technique you can master, the more fun it gets!

Salsa is not just about partner work, and partner work is not just about figures. Much like all other dances, dancing Salsa is about expressing yourselve, interpreting the music with your body's movement. Develop your dance technique such as balance, posture, footwork, turning technique and cultivate your music knowledge, it is an essential part of being a good Salsero.

Understanding of the Rhythm, Timing; different Styles of dance and music will help you to express yourselve more freely. Building your confidence and developing your own style is what these workshops are providing for.

Salsa Styling and Shine.

What is Salsa Styling and Shine?

Let's not just dance but also "Shine". : )

Salsa Styling is about developing your dance technique such as balance, posture, body movement & control, footwork and Improvisation technique. To develop your own Style and increase your confidence on the dance floor. * We are the first salsa dance school giving Lady Styling Workshop in Switzerland.

Our teachers are experienced dance instructor with music and dance education. We break things down to detail; show you the technique, tricks and tips.

These Workshops are cater for everyone in every levels. Whether you are a first timer or an experienced dancer, every exercise in the class will help you to further your dance technique and to become a better dancer.

These Workshops are dedicated for Spins and Turning Techniques.
Exercise to develop your balance, posture, timing and "spotting" technique for Spin and Turns. (more useful for Salsa PR / N.Y/ Modern/ Cross-Body Style.)

These Workshops are dedicated to those want to learn more about the music, the Rhythm and the different dance Styles in Salsa.

Rhythm and timing:

• The Salsa Rhythm - La Clave.

• The relationshop of the footwork and La Clave.

• The accent and essence of the Rhythm.

• Music arrangement - how does timing change, vary from different songs.

• The Music instruments - the accent in different instruments, help you to keep the timing and develop your hearing for interpretation.
  Percussion with Hands on exercise. Join in a group and have fun.

In-depth explanation and note of the different dance Styles of Mambo / Salsa / Casino Cubano / Son / Rumba / Cumbia.
Demonstration of all different dance styles and music.
